It’s finally over, we’ve made it to the end and we still don’t know who’s going to take the Maglia Rosa.

Who’s your money on for the ITT and the overall?

Is it between Phinney, Larsson and Rasmussen and if so who’s survived the mountains in a good enough condition to put in a great ride? Who else has a shot?

Can Rodriguez put in the time trial of his life to keep the jersey or will Hesjedal take it from him at the last minute? Can De Gendt make up any time and make the podium? How will Basso do?

Lots of questions still to answer, its been a great three weeks and for me, the TdF is going to have to be amazing to top this.

Did you get to that team with no penalty points?

Could be a stage winner if so :^o

    Sergio Luis Henao (SKY)
    Ivan

    Sergio Luis Henao (SKY)
    Ivan Basso (LIQ)
    Joaquin Rodriguez (KAT)
    Ryder Hesjedal (GRM)
    Domenico Pozzovivo (COG)
    Gustav Erik Larsson (VCD)
    Manuele Boaro (SAX)
    Matteo Rabottini (FAR)
    Ramunas Navardauskas (GRM)

Considering taking a 20 point penalty to bring de gent for Henao or bass!?
He’d need to be top 4 for a good positive points tally!

    I don’t think you will,
I don’t think you will, Malori should top 10 but I think Rasmussen will win it.

    Pinotti
    Phinney

So hoping for a decent day. My last-minute change of heart was Rasmussen instead of Malori, I hope I don’t live to regret that…

    I don’t like Thomas or
I don’t like Thomas or Phinney for the longer TT. Don’t get me wrong, I think they could easily top 10 or even top 5, but I see them as less likely than others. My outrageous top 5 prediction (now bound to be wrong) for tomorrow is

    1. Larsson
    2. de Gendt
    3. Rasmussen
    4. Pinotti
    5. Boaro

Others I looked at include of course Thomas and Phinney, but also Malori, Tuft, and Clement.

With that said, here’s the team:

    Pinotti (IN for Uran)
    J-Rod
    Hesjedal
    de Gendt (IN for Basso)

    Larsson (IN for Barta)
    Rabottini
    Pirazzi
    Pozzovivo
    Rasmussen (IN for Felline)

He was 4th in the TDF ITT in
He was 4th in the TDF ITT in Grenoble last year behind Tony Martin, Cadel Evans and Alberton Contador, so yes he can.

He wasn’t saving himself for it either – he was sixth on the Alpe d’Huez the previous day.

Um… I’m sure I saw that Bobridge had called it a day today on one of the text commentaries. Probably worth checking out if you’re thinking of having him in your team.

    Stumps

    Stuck in De Gendt, Larsson
Stuck in De Gendt, Larsson and Phinney. Nothing to lose as i’m not going to win but a nice little climb up my area standings would do nicely.

    I’ve got 4, had a very climby
I’ve got 4, had a very climby team so I didn’t make any changes between 19 and 20 with the ITT in mind.

I’ve made my changes now, gone with what I put above. Dropped Basso over Rodriguez even though Basso’s got the better TT, at this stage I’d rather have the guaranteed points in hand.
