Well folks, as the dust settles on a cracking Paris Nice race the clock has started ticking for the Milan San Remo race.

Checked various web sites and can only find part team line ups listed so lets hope it’s not a last minute thing.

I’ve got Vichot as he’s my lucky rider (won stage 6 of TdF last year with him). Bonnet’s probably the designated rider this year and he did pretty well in TA 2 & 3, but he’s pricey so it was a choice between Vichot and Geslin, who’s done well in the past. Went with superstition!! As good a reason as any in a race of this type.

    Damn picked the wrong
Damn picked the wrong Euskatel rider for the break 🙁

The break by the way is Cheng Ji (Project 1t4i), Juan Pablo Suarez (Colombia-Coldeportes), Dmitriy Gruzdev (Astana), Angelo Pagani (Colnago-CSF), Vergard Stake Laengen (Team Type 1), Juan Jose Oroz (Euskaltel), Pierpaolo De Negri (Farnese Vini), Michael Mørkøv (Saxo Bank), Oleg Berdos (UtensilNord)

I nearly went for De Negri rather than the Euskatel rider but then changed my mind

    This game frustrates at times

We will not mention why he is not racing for the rest of the year shall we.

Could replace him with Steve Chainel who buried himself for Offredo last year, after being in the select group over the Cipressa last year.

Except he probably have to do the same for Geslin this year, who is also a french DS on FDJ (note check 2010 results)

I have a team ready, but may get tweeked when full line ups are announced. No Cav in it, but does contain a frenchman that i doubt many will have

    Bonnet?

You’re 4 points above me, be interesting to see your team tomorrow. Might still change if I wake up early enough as like most of us I’m unsure about Cav and might go Canc instead.

No longer have the frenchman as he is not racing. It was Offredo, had been in top 20 the past two years.

I defo doubt many will have my italian star rider

In fact i will say my team is a mess! well my DS’s anyway
