    ok more bad choices looking ahead to the 4 transfers, but forgetting the 2 stages that sprinter may win on Tue/Wed So

    My predictions.

    Van garderen takes all the mountain points istead of Hoog. Hushovd holds on to yellow. None of the GC guys bother, Millar, Voekleur, Vino, Hoogerland, Casar, Gerrans get away. I get my lowest points score.

    Can’t see Coyot (Saur-Sojasun) lasting the day either – apparently he’s just hurled at the back of the peloton. Hope no-one on his wheel.

    Anyone doing the Acte II Etape that follows the route of today’s stage? Everyone said it would be a cakewalk compared to Acte I. Hmmm.

    There’s what you might call a
    There’s what you might call a ‘super breakaway’ group of six riders with just over three minutes on the peloton after 60km. Four past stage winners – Flecha, LL Sanchez, Casar and Voeckler (virtual maillot jaune). The other two aren’t slouches either – Hoogerland (looking to get polka dot jersey back?) and Terpstra.

    Txurruka taken to hospital after a crash 🙁

    Brutt and Poels have abandoned. Gesink sounds like he’s having a bad day too.

    hoogerland and voecklar are away at the front i believe, its amazing how different Gkams team looks to mine as it was quite similar at the start
