are people still riding now its freezing?

I am not sure if its my old age but I am too nervous to take to the roads on proper road rides when its freezing. Im in Bristol so there is no snow and the roads are mainly dry but it still feels a bit mental on 22mm tyres. I was just wondering whether others are still out and about and whether you just stick to the major roads?

On the plus side I have been on the cyclocross bike in Ashton court and Leigh woods at night and its fantastic fun off road, the trails are solid. I think it will do wonders for my bike handling skills 🙂
