Planet X or Ribble?

I have a £1000 budget and am drawn to Planet X or Ribble carbon bikes - any thoughts? Should I also look at Canyon AL or Spec Allez elite, both with 105, instead? How can Ribble sell an ultegra equipped bike for £1000?

Is the Ribble one last years Ultegra?

I had a Spec Allez and now have the Canyon AL (both with 105). Canyon is a much better bike but no mudguard mounts.

If you want carbon (who doesnt) then you will have to get carbon or you will always think “i should have gone carbon”
