Advice needed! I am looking at Canyon bikes and like both the Endurace  CF 9.0 and Ultimate CF SL 9.0. I like the gearing set up on the Endurace with Di2 with a compact on the front and a 32 on the back. There are a lot of hills where we ride! I do like the Ultimate but worry about the gearing. However I am concenred that the ride set up would be too relaxed. Has anyone bought either of these bikes with the Di2 gear option?

PS – I know about their potential delivery issues – not in a hurry as I have a bike!

    Thanks. Riding a carbon Cube

Thanks. Riding a carbon Cube with compact on the front (I think!) and a 32 on the back. Need the 32 when slopes get above 10% which is common here in Devon. Asked if they would customise the Ultimate but they won’t. I suspected it would be a relatively comfy ride.

Would be interesting to hear the Endurace perspective.

    I’ve the ultimate, no Di2,
I’ve the ultimate, no Di2, got it back in October, delivery was one week early. Even on this racier version of the bike, I find it comfortable and the set-up relaxed. The bike is relatively tall at the front, compared to some race machines.

What gears do you ride now? This should probably influence your decision the most. I went from a standard 53-39 with a 25 on the rear so the Ultimate gearing has made hills a little easier for me.
