WEBSITE:Annoying slide-in ‘next’ panel (broken!)

    Not only is that the most irritating thing when you are trying to read something, when viewed in my version of Chrome the close button takes you to the article anyway!

    Don’t know about anyone else but I think this needs to be binned,

    This is a horrible feature,

    This is a horrible feature, all too common on web sites these days – perhaps logged in users could opt to switch it off (or there could be a ‘hide these notifications’ option in the flyout?). It’s also huge, and covers a load of the article I’m trying to read, with links to articles I’ve often already read.

    Wow, yes, this is SUPER annoying. If you’d like to make it worse it could be auto-playing slide-in pop-over video on full volume which only starts after 30 seconds of ads, but then not by much.

    Right, it seems that mouse detection of the X icon is off, if you get it dead centre it works ok.

    I’m also getting the panel coming in halfway down some stories (the stealth hd 2 camera review is one) instead of at the bottom of the scroll.
