Boycott Creme Eggs

    Argh, the legendary double post. So I will have to edit and open discussion on another burning hot topic; Cadbury’s Creme Eggs. Cadburys now owned by Kraft have changed the chocolate form Dairy Milk to another cheaper chocolate. It is subtle different by inferior, I know I taste tested it against a Twirl. Now Kraftburys say that they have never advertised the CE as the Dairy Milk Creme Egg; true, but Dairy Milk is Cadburys chocolate, the public don’t make a distinction and expect Dairy Milk. What is next? It doesn’t say Dairy Milk on Twirl or a Flake (twirls are just man-flakes) or a Crunchy. Not only do we have to tolerate shrinking bar sizes we now have to stomach this! No I say! Boycott Creme Eggs and send a message to Kraftburys.

    I’ve not had a single Creme Egg this year. This formulation change is bound to cost them lots of profit ! đŸ™‚

    I’m not that fussed about
    I’m not that fussed about creme eggs, but let’s have it right, Hersheys is espoused as tasting great in the USA, but if you’re used to proper dairy milk chocolate, then Hersheys tastes like a bit of cardboard gently smothered with premium quality dog shit.

    It’s a shame that a taste everyone enjoys (I’m sure Cadburys’ other brands will go the same way) is being diluted with crap, but ultimately Kraft will be forced to compete – continuing to offer good quality chocs is a ridiculously obvious business opportunity to all the other chocolate manufacturers.

    I have tasted one of these
    I have tasted one of these new Creme Eggs. They’re awful. Chocolate feels “oily” in the mouth. Avoid.

    The greatest joy I had while
    The greatest joy I had while in the US for an extended stay a couple of years ago was finding Cadburys Creme Eggs in the local supermarket.

    This was followed by the crashing disappointment of how shit they tasted. Reading the small print, “made under licence by Hershey”. Now that is bad chocolate!
