I bought a new road bike for racing on and it came with a nice set of carbon tubular wheels, I have no clue with tubulars having always used clinchers.
From looking at various articles and posts it seems that a lot of the set up for tubulars is personal preference. I need mine to be able to cope with some summer rides as well as hill climbs and races, what would be the best way to set it up? The wheels have a bit of glue left on them and I do not own any tubular tyres, which are best from the experience of you guys?
Also, once I have set them up all good and proper, how would I deal with a flat mid ride? Is it just a case of carrying patches and super glue or is there a more permanent repair for the tyres?
Any help would be appreciated as I am completely in the dark with this topic.
