    I picked my team early and so
    I picked my team early and so had non starters Cancellara and Larsson taking up valuable budget which i’d probably have used on Malori and Kangert plus a small upgrade on my minnows……still would have only got 110pts though

    Besides, Wiggins does his weight yo-yo-ing thing (gain weight for Roubaix, then lose some for California, then put it back on for the World Championshp TT and keep it there for the track next year etc.). It doesn’t always work out for him, but it certainly did now…

    2nd at the last WC and 1st in olympics and swap them round for Martin would disagree with your assessment, add to that 1st in his last ITT albeit it less than 10k and with no cancellara and noone is else in the field with anywhere near as good a palmares apart from Martin when it comes to this type of ITT would have suggested a shoe in for podium
