Virus Warning from Avast

    I use Avast antivirus and I got these messages when I visited the Forum pages, specifically the Tour de France Stage 21 thread just a few moments ago.

    I’m using NOD32 and IE11
    I’m using NOD32 and IE11 without any warnings on that thread.

    I wonder if the warning will go away if you get the paid-for version?

    Lots of folk (like me) have
    Lots of folk (like me) have to use IE for a good chunk of the day because it’s what they have at work. Though saying that, my work won’t let me look at road.cc because .cc is a forbidden domain.

    [insert 2000 word rant here about how my employer does not provide me with the right tools to do my job despite that fact that most of them are free because of ludicrous bureaucratic/’process’ reasons]

    Maybe only IE users are at risk, but still wondering if Avast is right and there is some malware present on the pages, whether Chrome or other users aren’t at any risk at all… 😕
