Forum Competition: Tour de France Top 10

    A simple forum competition for the Tour de France.

    Predict the final top 10 in the General Classification in the order you think they will finish.

    1 point for every rider that appears in the top 10 at the end of the Tour
    2 extra points for correctly predicting a rider’s finishing position within the top 10.

    Enter in the comments section below. Cut-off for entries is the start of stage 1.

    No prizes at the moment. Unless I or someone else can come up with anything.

    Here are the scoring rules:
    1. Your rider will get the points detailed below for their Final Ranking in GC
    2. Your rider will be penalized 1 point for each difference in position between their Final GC standing and the position you placed them in your submission.

    Here’s the Final Points for being in the Top 10 in GC:

    I had about 25 names on my short list and gave up trying to eliminate names just ended up mostly taking the obvious ones. This is my head team I expect more surprises in the top ten that I predict here. I will enter a heart team later.

    I’ve been thinking about the scoring… 😕 How about 3 points if you get a rider’s position exactly right, 2 points if you’re off by one position (up or down), and 1 point if you’re off by 2 positions? 😕 … or some variant of that?… 😕
