    So another mountainous day!

    Possibly another day for the breakaway! Should be a good one to watch!!

    It is nigh impossible to win a stage now. I thought mine might be good enough but not quite (you needed De Gendt rather than Wellens) but I’m not stage hunting so Wellens is the better choice actually. To be honest it’s been having him that’s saved me from some of my silly mistakes (taking out Pirazzi just before he won a stage!). I’ll do my best for East Anglian, the forum and myself but it’s really squeaky bum time now!

    The race will be decided on Sat but the fantasy one only by Sun.

    Competition is tougher this year I think , I finished 2nd in fs last year and 22nd overall , this year I’m trying to figure out if I’ve been unlucky with the crashes or my choices 😕

    I had 3 of the top 4 today with no pens and still only came 36= on the stage – tough crowd. Quite glad that if I’d gone Duarte over Kelderman I still wouldn’t have won the stage, that would’ve been annoying.

    And even when I was watching the video on steephill I thought I didn’t have him. I’ll have to watch the highlights now and see how it really all unfolded.

    At least I can watch the ITT. What an up and down week! 3rd, 15th, 7th, 3rd. But only 20 points behind now rather than about 55! But it’s so close at the top. Anyone in the top 10 could still win.

    My thoughts entirely although I think he mainly wants a stage win, so I swapped Duarte for him last night. Bit pointless but as he did get some mountain points and Duarte didn’t make the win (pity) or get any points there’s probably not much difference. Also had Wellens who picked up some points along the way, sprint and mountain. He might be targetting the Intermediate sprint comp as he keeps on picking them up for some reason. Maybe just the cash! Also have Quintana, Uran, Aru and Majka so another good day. I have another rider as well but I can’t remember who it is. Maybe Hesjedal. I’ll have to see when it’s finished updating. I couldn’t afford Pozzo and I think I chose Hesjedal over Rolland as he’s generally better at ITTs. Still praying for a Hesjedal podium from a good ITT and Uran to claw some time back on Quintana, but I think he’s got it tied up as long as he doesn’t crash or get pushed!

    I hope it’ll be green arrows today. Should be able to get a good team for the ITT and final mountain stage and save a few transfers for the last stage. I wish I hadn’t wasted some transfers before though!

    CORRECTION
    I had Arredondo, Duarte, Cataldo and Wellens! Kerching!!
