    But you missed THE GUN…Aussie Damien Howson is WORLD junior TT champ and he absolutely destroyed them.
    This is his Senior UCI tour ITT Debut, I am so excited.

    I didn’t think I cared about this comp what with it interfering with the Giro and being on too late, but I’m being sucked in.

    I really wonder what Terpstra will do today. Although I’d probably consider him likely to top 5 in a normal circumstance, I’d be surprised if he’s really going to go for it in light of his P-R victory, and with so many other people earmarking this competition (and this stage) as they are going to win jack-all the rest of the year. Accordingly my team and its penalties are a massive lay bet on Niki.

    30 point pen, but tried for a
    30 point pen, but tried for a bit of balance nonetheless with TT-ers who can climb. Will still have to make at least two transfers tomorrow though, and then pens again for the next sprint stage.

    Interested in the outcome of this one. Phinney’s been sounding very confident, but I have a sneaking fancy that Rohan Dennis might just surprise everyone and take the win.

    (N.B. if I had to stake actual money on it, it’d be Wiggins all the way)
