The problem came about
The problem came about because all through last year, people complained about stage deadlines not being close to the start of the race, so this year we moved them as close as could be, to give everyone a decent time to get a team in.If they had been left as we did in the large tours last year, there would have been no issue. But we pandered to people like yourself. So it happened to be a problem again this year.
From now on, how about we don’t take feedback from the users on board and just do our own thing?

Can i just point out that a genuine mistake doesn’t continually happen hence my comment above.
However , I’m well aware that Dave et al have expressed their stance on it and as such nothing anyone else says will change that because of that I agree the issue has been buried although obviously not to the satisfaction of all but that would always be the case in any dispute .

Ok, by the situation being ‘properly addressed’, do you mean:
1) When is the situation going to be rectified? As in, when will the game managers either, a), remove the points gained by the ‘offendors’ or, b), give others the same amount of points that were gained by these folks that put the breakaway riders on their teams?

2) When will someone come out and state in no uncertain terms that the conduct displayed by the people who put these riders on their teams was not in the spirit of the game?

I’ve been following this most of the day and had to stop myself from posting a few times because it’s clear now that this is no longer a discussion. A discussion needs two parties that will talk, what we have is one side that is explaining what happened and apologising for a genuine mistake and another side full of conspiracy theories and corruption allegations.I really think that there’s nowhere for this to go now, northstar and the few others of a similar kind believe what they do and that clearly can’t be changed so this “discussion” should end there. By continuing to get embroiled in this it only feeds their ego’s and beliefs so everyone, please let this go and move on. Stop responding to them on this subject and eventually they’ll get bored, keep arguing with them and you give them want they want most of all, attention.
