Ok, so being "fortunate" enough to live close to both an Aldi and a Lidl, I noticed that the latter is doing a sale on cycling gear next week (17 March). http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/SID-B24A5B45-B768B774/www_lidl_uk/hs.xsl/our-offers-2491.htm?id=240 The stuff on offer certainly seems to sit at the cheapest end of the spectrum, making the Aldi kit look like Rapha, but may be of interest to someone...

Dunno.

I bought a cheap beko pump and the valve adaptor came off the hose rendering it useless.

I think there are good and bad designs out there.

Track pumps are all the same,
Track pumps are all the same, they only vary in shinyness. This has been proven on another thread.

I bought one of their track
I bought one of their track pumps four or five years ago and it’s still going strong, easily achieving high pressures. In fact, I’ve just chucked out the expensive (Trek or Specialized) track pump that failed to work properly.
I’ll certainly take a look at their latest offerings, though I’ll have to pass on the basket as I’ve no shoes to match..

Lidl used to sell a cheap rip-off version of the Canyon SLX, but an investigation last year exposed it as a scam. A journalist had one examined and it turned out to be 98% horse.
