Le Tour Mediterranéen – Stages 3 & 4

Two stages today with a transfer window in between.  We start with a short rolling stage this morning that should follow a similar pattern to the first couple of days (although who can predict what will happen over just 62km) followed by an 18.2 km technical and hilly time trial this afternoon.

No changes for me going into the morning stage but I've already got three of my four changes planned out for this afternoon.  My only remaining decision will be whether I drop Degenkolb for the time trial in favour of a proper time trial rider or risk leaving him in and hoping for the best.  Got my eye on Phinney but I'm not sure if the TT suits him or not.

    One concern …..been messing
One concern …..been messing with the team and had 4 transfers made two for the TT then confirmed leaving me with 2 , then I started to play about with the team looking at what I could do with 4 for the SF , I’m pretty sure I didn’t confirm anything and now I have no transfers but my SF team is there ( 3 changes) and no penalty points …so effectively the game has taken 5 changes after confirming 2 out of 4 and no penalty for the 5 it’s actually taken , I’ve tried to revert the team to the TT selection and it’s registering penalties

    Given the deadline for
Given the deadline for transfers in a couple of hours and there’s only the top 13 available right now I doubt I’ll be able to get scores done before the next stage starts.

I need full finish line plus KoM and sprint points and it usually takes 3-4 hours for those to be confirmed so if you were planning on waiting for scores before making your changes I’d advise against it.

    Podium and nothing else from
Podium and nothing else from the top 13 from stage 3. I’ve dropped Thor and Degenkolb for this pm but I’m not sure I’ve made good choices for the TT. Might have to pin my hopes to Mount Faron.

1,5,10 so far for stage 3,
1,5,10 so far for stage 3, nearly took out Porsev for Martinez so glad I decided against it.
Made 6 transfers for stage 4 (no pens) including a couple of 3.0 youngsters that I think are good TTers but could easily do nothing – its more fun to try those guys tho’ I think.
Feel like I have a really good TT team with several guys who could also score tomorrow – but as we all know the TTs can be unpredictable, and there are a few potentially top guys (Phinney, Cummings, Roy, Gusev etc) that I don’t have. I’m hoping its a bit hilly – difficult to tell from the profile I saw.

    For TT…
    Chavanel
    Peraud
    Busche
    Larsson
    Ludvigsson
    Roux
    Lulu Sanchez
    Mystery 3.0 rider #1

    Transfers made, no Phinney
Transfers made, no Phinney for me but I have dropped Degenkolb. His 6th place in the ITT at the Etoile de Besseges nearly swayed me into keeping him but I’d rather have another proper TTer in my team I think.
