Podium Cafe VDS

    Hello,

     

    At the end of last year I said I'd be setting up an off-site league in one of the other bigger fantasy games.  The game is the Podium Cafe VDS and it is a year long squad based game.  You get a budget, pick a squad based on a set of rules then that's it.  No transfers, no picking teams, nothing.  You just have to trust your guys to go out and get you some points.

    The game runs across both women's and men's racing the calendar is very extensive covering everything from Grand Tours to national championships.

    League's don't seem to work too well so if anyone else is interested in competing we'll need to add each other to our own personal leagues, that means if you 're in you need to post your DS name and team name in this thread.  I'll keep track of the results through the year.

    Got about 8 in Paris-Nice and
    Got about 8 in Paris-Nice and 7 in Tirreno-Adriatico according to PCS and teams are not complete yet. Not sure if there’s any point playing roadcc just yet until the Grand Tours. Plenty to interest me in this game, even in minor races, and no more headache of choosing and getting it wrong! (Which I have done in the classics so far!)

    Boonen doing well but he doesn’t race that much after the classics so I thought he was expensive at 18 and there’s a very high risk of a crash. I reckon you need to score 80-100 points per point a racer costs to make it worthwhile to choose them. We’ll see if Boonen makes 1500 or more by the end of the season. OPQS got more GC interest now with Uran and Kwia and then there’s Cav to keep happy so I’m not sure he’ll race TdF.
