What to do with old wheels?

In the summer I wore out my first set of wheels, a set of Mavic Ksyrium Elites. The freehub needed servicing / replacement, and the brake tracks were also worn, and as they were 6 years old and full of Mavic proprietary parts, I was advised it wasn't economically sensible to put them back into service, so I replaced them with a handbuilt set which will be more serviceable in future. I now have some Ksyriums knocking around taking up space I don't have.

They're not usable (as wheels) but is there anything more useful I (or someone else) can do with them rather than just take them to the tip?

Give them to an allotment holder.   We can make use of any discarded materials.

I've seen bike wheels mounted horizontally on top of a post with strings or canes attached and runner beans or sweet peas growing up them.

Also as a plant support with the plants growing through the spokes.

How about a Ferris wheel bird feeder?
