Hi All,

I have recently decided to try a road bike, after about 15 years of riding an MTB. Since I like monkeying with a wrench in the workshop, the decision was to build one myself. I had a browse through ebay and impulse-bought an old Principia frame with a carbon fork. A quick google suggests that principia frames are supposed to be OK, but I can’t figure out what model I have.
The frame weight (without fork) is about 1.4kg.

Does anyone know what model/year this is? The frame is anodised aluminium.
I’ve had a browse through Principia brochures from early 2000s and can’t find anything that matches.

Also, trying to figure out what headset is needed for this one – any help would be appreciated.

For the headset, it looks

For the headset, it looks like external cups required. Measure the inside diameter very carefully, and then check this Park Tools article very carefully.
