Poor driving is seen on a daily basis, so here’s a thread of of what I get to experience while driving in and out of town, the toen being Caer.

Today’s tit was in a Transit with his family, close pass at what will soon become a famous pinch point on Grosvenor Road. Of course I caught him up at the traffic lights and asked him if it was worth it. Then he brake checked me and got the wanker treatment. he then ran a red light to “sort it out”. I stopped and he got out so have a good, incoherent whinge stating that his pass was safe and it’s not my job to call it unsafe. See? I told you he was a wanker. I patiently waited for him to “sort it out”. He turned to get back in the van and I started riding off, to which he shouted “that’s it! Run away!”  I turned round, caught him up only to see the gobby wanker disappear under the instuctions of the wife.

More stories as and when I take the bike into town, there’s usually one per day and usually they’re extremely funny as threats of violence quickly disappear.

Today’s tit is a taxi driver,

Today’s tit is a taxi driver, a profesional driver who receives money for ferrying people around the city, someone you trust to get you to your destination safely. Unfortunately this doesn’t apply to taxi P1491 who I fisrt caught sight of driving in the cycle lane on Grosvenor Bridge meaning an overtake would be executed on the outside of the vehicle. He didn’t like this. I managed to get to the Grosvenor Roundabout before him and took the road that is arrowed left for Nicholas St, he took the right hand lane arrowed for Grosvenor Road (but was really turning left too). As traffic moved off I turned and then, immediately on enetering Nicholas St, indicated that I was turning right on to Weaver St, this meant the taxi couldn’t overtake and therefore had to undertake. I didn’t know at this juncture that he also wanted Weaver St. At the lights he was now sitting to my left, half in the right turn filter lane and half blocking other traffic.  Down comes the window and he ask whether I want to say something, I replied no not really. Without self control came the “should’ve use the bike lane, mate!”. Is that the one you were blocking? and the circle of futile should’ve while ignoring the facts that he was blocking the lane, turned left at a straight ahead arrow and then blocked two lanes, just to make a point, all while carrying a paying passenger. #wanker. yes

There is no rage here, I find

There is no rage here, I find it all very amusing at how these people get so enraged and even go out of their way to get angry. This isn’t a venting, this is a daily report of amusing (to me) stories that hopefully show how pathetic they are.

    Honestly, it isn’t worth it.
Honestly, it isn’t worth it. You’ll eat yourself up with rage if you can’t let these things go. Get it on camera and report it if you can get decent footage, but then forget about it. Ride defensively but don’t confront people. There’s no point to it.

    Today’s tit was a Tesla

Today’s tit was a Tesla driver, a MGIF Tesla driver who used all that electric power to jump into a gap that didn’t really exist. Obviously he was caught up at the first set of traffic lights, this is the ring road from Storyhouse towards the Wrecsam Rd. Lights change and he guns it for the next 25m to the car in front and proceeds to hold me up. I get past him on the very dodgy and dangerous cycle lane over Grosvenor Bridge, something that makes him unhappy. As the single lane becomes two, he overtakes again causing another car to use the horn, and cuts in front of me to earn the standard wanker sign. Woman driving the white VW that he’d cut up saw this and gave me the thumbs up. Some drivers are OK.
