STOLEN ROAD BIKE BRIXTON - Fuji Supreme 2.3

The frame and rear wheel of my small womens Fuji Supreme 2.3 road bike was stolen today (Thurs 07 July) between approx 11:35-11:55am from the public bike rack in front of Brixton House. D lock and front wheel were left at rack

Black frame, big orange brand lettering, 2x saddle bags

It is a relatively uncommon model - please do let me know if you come across it on sales sites or in person

My guess is they are mostly organized networks, shipping dozens of bikes by truck or even container to Eastern Europe and even further away!

When it happened to me I was told by the police that they only file reports for insurance, ie they won't do anything about it. But most basic insurances don't cover bike theft, so...

One of mine had a big U-lock and a chain, yet it was stolen at noon in front of a supermarket in France...

If you have to leave a bike in public places, keep an old one just for that, or even buy a 2nd hand bike that looks used, old, without market value...

May i suggest that you from now on take the front wheel off and lock the bike up by threading the D lock through both wheels as well as the frame and what ever it is that you are using to secure it again?

Not saying this is your fault but you did invite this by making the theft really easy for them.
