Hello

Can you guys please suggest either a decent smallish (well tucked under the saddle) saddle bag, or a jersey pocket pouch.

I carry normally. 1 tube, 2 co2 carts & applicator, small sushi bottle of lube, 3 tyre levers, a small allen key multitool, and some patches, something that would take these easily, plus a tiny bit of room for keys if needed.

I use an Alpkit Banicoot zip

I use an Alpkit Banicoot zip pouch which keeps all my essentials in. If I’m doing a one bottle ride it fits into my tool box screw top bottle thing which goes into a bottle cage, if I’m doing a two bottle ride it goes into my jersey pocket.

This means no need for any kind of unsightly or fiddly saddle bag and keeps the weight nice and low near the bottom bracket most of the time.

I’m still looking for the

I’m still looking for the holy grail of saddle bag / jersey packing. Currently using the Castelli Mini mentioned below (currently only contains a tube though could fit tool and levers too) together with a Velo Culture pencil case (upcycled inner tubes, also mentioned below) which takes tool, levers, keys, money and would fit a phone too. Neither of them is full in this arrangement, but I couldn’t get all of the above in just one of them.

Nice bike! The seat pack doesn’t really spoil the lines either which is definitely a plus. I also like that I can fit my Fly6 on the seatpost below it without having the camera view obstructed.

Got these on both my summer bikes. I’ve found them the best looking solution having tried bags etc before. Many people tell me they thought it was part of the saddle, so it really does just blend in.

I’ve just bought a saddle bag from lifeisaride. A small independent over in Germany, looks great, can have any colours and will squash down.

After much deliberation (AKA

After much deliberation (AKA procrastination) I bought a Blackburn Grid MTB. Attaches to the rails with velcro. I don’t have much seat post exposed and needed one that left room for a rear light. Like the Castelli, the Grid tucks in neatly but at 0.4L and not tapered it has greater capacity than the other ‘mini’ options I considered.

The road version might be easier to access while on a ride if that’s important to you but I keep keys, cash etc in a Cake Stop Caddy which is made from recycled inner tubes and fits in a jersey pocket.

I actually have one of those,
I actually have one of those, but in summer, I like two bottles for anything over 30 (most rides) so its redundant during this season. But thanks for the suggestion.

Not quite an answer to your question but how about a bottle tool holder, I carry one on each bike, can even get an emergency mini pump in the zio up one

I find it will hold a spare tube, co2, levers and a few patches. I like it as it’s tiny and is pretty much hidden under the saddle
