Why am I getting pop up all over my screen?

I’m a subscriber with a current subscription.

I had done verything to get rid of them including closing and reopening the site and then restarting but they won’t go away.

My subscription renewed today

My subscription renewed today and I got pop-up ads.  Just going into “my account” seemed to be enough to clear it (no ads was ticked)

If your subscription recently renewed, the box that was ticked for no ads is now unticked. Did you check this box post-renewal?
