Were any of the pedestrians wearing a helmet or hi-viz though?

Although as it is an active court case, please no comments on the story linked yet.

Is that some additions by an add-in or indeed road.cc for grabbing info about where people are going?  Copy-paste of the text (ensuring it's text that's getting pasted) looks OK, seems to be the BBC.

However if I start posting about entitled cyclists lacking in roadcraft, reminding people that the cycle bits of the highway code are mostly "should" and therefore basically just wishes etc. you'll know.

Virtually all external links on road.cc will bring up that prompt with uBlock. It's a tracker resouce, normally used for referral fees though road.cc seem to implement on every external link, including ones posted by users.

If you don't have an ad/tracking blocker then you won't ever see the warning.
