Looks promising
So the Irish Republic is pushing out the boat on this one. A motorway to be built between Limerick and Cork. In a nutshell it will include cycle lanes as well as transport hubs to allow you to switch to bus/car share/cycle for the last stage of your journey. Also means you can cycle the whole way if you want or part of the way in relative safety in order to reach other towns on route. Some of the comments on the FB page are hilarious and make you wonder if they engage their brains at all!
