Inner Tubes

May be a daft question!

I have just bought some new 28mm GP 5000's and without thinking have put the same innertubes I was using on the old 25mm tyres.

Have run out of my supply and existing ones have plenty of repairs already so was looking online for another bulk buy and noticed that most of the ones I'm looking at specify use for tyres between 20mm-25mm.

Is it really going to make much difference? I can source ones that specify 28mm tyres but they tend to be sold individually and are more expensive.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are.

TIA

PlanetX have another tyre and inner-tube sale on at the moment (until Monday)

https://www.planetx.co.uk/c/q/wheels-and-tyres/tyres-and-tubes/inner-tub...

There's a range of widths/value lengths e.g. 25-32mm Continental Race 28 Wide @ £1.99

They also seem to have them in other valve lengths and tube sizes.

I found that a load of decathlon cheapo inner tubes marked for 23mm still worked just fine with 28mm. But when I absent-mindedly put one in a 32mm tyre it burst as it came up to pressure...

Should be fine though the rubber will be more stretched so it may puncture more easily.
