If connecting wirelessly I think you need to open the app and turn on the camera. When it connects you get a prompt that it needs to stop recording to view footage, I think you just acccept that option and can then view the files. Well at least thats how my Fly12 first gen works with my PC or android  app.

I dont think so. The mac
I dont think so. The mac will mount the SD card if you connect the fly12 using the USB cable, then you can view it in finder and open in your favourite video app, copy to the mac first for best results.
At least mine does 🙂
