With various councils in Scotland actively dismantling temporary cycle lanes without giving them a chance to prove themselves and others demonstrating a complete inability to establish decent infra. At least Glasgow City Council is going about providing secure storage. This is promising especially when many tenement blocks won’t let you secure your bike in the stairwell or landlords won’t let you keep your bike inside the flat.

3000 spaces when 1500 are already on the waiting list in a city of 600k + people (depending on where you draw the boundaries). It’s a start.
