Di2 - fitting to my bike

Hi all,

I've come across a few cheap Di2 parts recently so have been gathering them up in order to upgrade my bike. I've currently got 6870 shifters and rear mech, but can't find anywhere a 6870 front mech for a decent price. Would I be able to get away with buying a 8050 front mech instead and running that, or would the whole system complain at me if I mix and match?

Thanks,

Alex

Thanks - the tables were very useful. I thought as much but hadn't managed to find that PDF anywhere, seeing it written down is reassuring though.

The derailleurs should mix and match. However, the older junction box won't support the new derailleurs IIRC. You'll also need to make sure all the firmware is on the same page.
