    Hi,

I’m in  the midst of having a Ti road bike built in China. All good so far, and most of the decisions have been made. The design is simply based on a Moots RCS road frame – https://moots.com/bikes/road/vamoots-rcs/

But with one difference… I want to route the cables internally through the headtube. It’ll work with the fork I’ve chosen and a larger diameter head tube. THE QUESTION IS… if the headset is now integrated how much do I need to increase the headtube length to maintain the same effective lenght as the Moots’ 150mm?

I appreciate there are other factors to consider here but I wanted to start with the pure mechanics of the thing.

Any sugestions greatly received, my research is falling a little short here.

    Thanks J

Look up the stack height of a Chris King semi-integrated headset I suppose, and add that on?
    Or just use spacers.
