Chain issue on road bike

    After giving the cassette a

    After giving the cassette a good thorough clean, all seems well again. I had a lot of gunk in between the cogs. Although I’ll probably give the rear mech a bit of adjustment tomorrow as well.

    I concur.
    Free the chain carefully so you don’t cause more damage to the frame and then you may want to adjust your derailleur H stop screw to prevent it happening again: https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help/rear-derailleur-adjustment

    It looks like your chain has got jammed between the smallest sprocket on the back wheel, and the frame itself.
