Bikepacking the Danube
Hi all. Does anyone have any experience/tips for bikepacking the Danube? Routes, camp stops etc...

No firsthand experience but there'll be Cycling UK and maybe WarmShowers forums or posts about it.
Ive riden along the danube bike path in Austria a couple of times, its very straight and some sections are reletively remote and quiet, so can get a little lonely. it was all fairly well laid loose chipping/tarmac for the main part and a lot of towns have municipal camping grounds I found along the way, so finding a campsite shouldnt be too hard. Food-wise can be a bit hit and miss so worth planning ahead if youre going into any of the less serviced sections depending on your speed. if youre going in summer there are a fair few swimming spots which are great for cooling down.
