I’ve a friend who is getting into indoor cycling – I have given him my old fluid trainer and he has a bluetooth speed/cadence sensor.  He is looking for something that will show the ‘speed’ based on the rear wheel as it rotates, and cadence.

Has anyone come across a good headunit app for iPhone which would display these outputs for his workouts, and allow him to save his sessions on Strava?

He’s probably be happy with a basic headunit too, if anyone knows of a good affordable one.

    TIA

    Thanks – I’ll suggest getting

Thanks – I’ll suggest getting a bracket for his iPhone.

Annoyingly the Wahoo app is wahoo hardware only now, otherwise that would have been ideal.

An old mobile ‘phone may do

An old mobile ‘phone may do the trick with a suitable widget stuck to the back so it can be attached to a bracket. The Wahoo app’ may well work with bluetooth sensors your friend has and should provide suitable data…but it is a while since I’ve used that particular app.
