We quite often see new threads asking ‘What is the best road tyre?’ here. The answer 80% of the time is Continental GP4000s. They are slick, hard wearing, grippy, and puncture resistant. They seem to do every job well. I am sure if you want outright speed, or bomb proof puncture resistance there are some that can beat it, but ContiGPs are like the Fairy liquid or Heinz Ketchup of tyres for me. So I had to point out a bargain when I saw it:
