Hi,

I am in the fortunate position to find myself near Oviedo from 12-15th of September.

Has anyone ever gone to watch on the Angliru, just looking for some advice as to best way to go about this.

Will have a hire car so wonder how close to the bottom I can get and park, is there somewhere I should aim for specifically?

Any advice gratefully received.

Not sure what it would be
Not sure what it would be like during the Vuelta, I’ve only been there for a cycle…. Suggest parking around Pola de Lena early, then cycling up to La Vega and as high up as you can get. I’ve never watched the Vuelta, but suspect it will be like the Tour where you have to be cycling up the mountain by 10 if you want to get there before they close the road.
