**Update**
Unfortunately operation won't be until Monday, so Prague is a NO.
Pretty gutted. It would have been unfair to all the people going though, and probably wouldn't have been in the insurance... (or whatever)
__
Determined not to write off the rest of the season though, so I've bought a Schwalbe Insider and a garmin speed sensor so I'm going to hit the turbo hard.
Junior Tour of Wales is in 6 weeks and a day, and wire should have been in and out of my finger by then. Hopefully sooner rather than later, so I can get a race in before to check that I still work.
Is salty water (north sea) good for road rash? :p
Basically going to ride as much as I do on the road a week... on the turbo.
Should be entertaining. I'll try and make it fun.

Doh. Hope the op goes well. It's only a pinky anyway.
Don't worry. You won't be the first bloke to go to Prague with the horn and not be able to perform. **Tish bum**
Sorry to hear this mate. Hope things go well at the hospital.
Yep well what I think happened was that his handlebars went on top of mine and neither of us could steer away.
He labded on top of me and I took most of the damage, although he has a huge gash down his right hand.
Play the french horn, so maybe some low frequency will help it heal
The same frequency... As road buzz?!
Your Physics teacher might wonder "not really either of our fault, we were both going at the same speed etc.," then how did you touch? I think there might be more to this story.
Thank you NHS for patching up our roving Cervelo ambassador. Hope you can still play your violin in Prague with your broken finger:
