1,2,4,5,12 plus all the top 5 in the points comp plus Paolini and Santambrogio GC plus Viviani and Cavendish in the intermediate sprints and Viviani taking the combativity prize gives me, I think, about 170 today
1,2,5,8,12,17 + Paolini & Nibali
Very happy with that after a few very bad scores. Also have 4 transfers saved up for tomorrow or the TT. Hopefully I can move up the rankings a bit in the next few stages.
1,2,4,5,8,13,17
Hmm will that be enough for a win?
Finally
178 points , 12,3,4,5 plus mountain and young rider means I move up 18 places ....
Now to take some penalty points for the next two stages (again)
If you check the Giro website (http://www.gazzetta.it/Giroditalia/2013/it/) and look at the classifications for the stage (tappa) rather than the overall and there's one called 'Premio Combattivita'.
No, but enrique has just about pulled it off!
How do you find out who gets the combativity prize??
11 Edwin Alcibiades AVILA VANEGAS
12 Kenny DE HAES
13 Adam BLYTHE
14 Iljo KEISSE
15 Ioannis TAMOURIDIS
2,3,4 & 7 very pleased with that vast improvement for me
1,2,4 and 5. A better day than I've been having so far.
1 CAVENDISH Mark Omega Pharma - Quick-Step 80 3:56:03

At least I got 1,2 and 5. May have lost some points to those who had Goss and Bouhanni as well, but should be a solid score
1 Cav
2 Viviani
3 Goss
Stage hunting today
Cav
Bouhanni
Viviani
Nizollo
Ventoso
Blythe
Gavazzi
Jens Kek... (However its spelt)
Berard
Have 8/10 transfers for my stage hunting exploits over the weekend
Sprint 2
'ditto'
Sprint 1
1 Wurf
2 Bobridge
3 Viviani
I bought Gavazzi in for Wurf
Me too (well, Ferrari). Its always the way, you think you're being sensible and not taking the ridiculously small chance of getting someone in the break, and some guy who's had flu since you transferred him in, and not looked like getting any points at all, suddenly decides to pick up 12-16 points in a break the day you get rid of him.
All good fun though!
Gap 5.42
Dammit. Just watched the highlights of yesterday, hadn't realised that Gatto and Ventoso were right up there until the crash - could've been a really good day yesterday.
Advantage 2.15
Oh dear everyone - WigBilly has a plan! Bad news...
And if Wurf gets in the break I'll be mildly annoyed... #massivebloodyunderstatement
Bobridge (BLA) & Wurf (CAN) have established a small lead
just 2 changes for me today, had enough unrewarded penalty points for now!
Cav
goss
JD
Bouhanni
Battaglin
Paolini
garzelli
Locatelli
Mezgec
Think may regret not having viviani, and maybe ferrari, nizzolo, gavazzi, but you can have everyone.....
I'm on Cav today at 4/5, massive gamble not having him in the squad today i feel
If only I'd gone Viviani instead of JD
Still, some order restored one feels, after these low score days. now for more headaches....
Phinney has started but is also struggling with a fever....
I've got a plan for the next 3 stages, so only one transfer today.
Cavendish (for Santanmbrogio)
Ventoso
Hesjedal
Battaglin
Paolini
Dehaes
Betancur
Rubiano
Gavazzi
