Wiggo retires from ToB

2 I appreciate that Brad's priority is to do well at the Worlds TT and F.Cancellara is going to be the man to beat, but in my household there was an expectation for him to win a stage on the ToB.

I hoped he'd get in a breakaway and since he was 15mins down in the GC then the peloton would let him go and he'd solo away like at the Beaumont.

Who are we going to cheer on in London on the 19th now? 7

Still plenty of homegrown talent to cheer on.

Rob Hayles ex National Champion had a poor start to the Tour could be allowed to get in a getaway.

Kristian House current National Champion.

Ed Clancy a real powerhouse

Are all capable of taking a stage and there are other Brits you can cheer on Geraint Thomas, Dan Lloyd, Dan Fleeman Ian Stannard just take a look at the General Classification for the British riders.

I would suggest Russ Downing. He won the Tour of Ireland, got himself a new contract, and he always seems to be lurking near the front on most of the stage finishes/sprints.
