Porte and Quintana did diddly squat! I'm starting to get annoyed with these "loaded" teams the big boys send out.

In hindsight it seems obvious Moreno was going to be given his shot today.

Looks like I picked the right Colombians but the wrong Spaniard (I did briefly consider Moreno, before going the full J-Rod). Oh well, a half-decent performance and certainly taking some attention away from the utter car crash that is my Trentino team.

At work so didn't see any of this but from secretly following on Twitter sounded like a cracking finish. Looking forward to seeing it when I get in.

Chuffed with today - 7 scorers in standard and 6 in purist - way better than I expected. And the guys I chose Denifl ahead of all finished behind him, so at least my silly risk didn't cost me any points!

Still three Colombians, my first draft had five. Ummed and ahhed particularly over Valverde/Hesjedal/Uran over Rodruiguez, Kwiatkowksi over Albasini, and Nordhaug over Ulissi. Just to pre-empt my inevitable failures...

Also considered Chalapud from Team Colombia who seems to be in decent form - but stuck with Weening on the grounds that a grizzled old Dutchman will probably do better than a fresh-faced South American.

Wrong IAM rider in the break! Lang and Devillers have 3 mins on the peloton, van Goolen bridging the gap...
