As said above, its the standard cable, nothing special.
I have one's from my old phone, camera's galore, mp3 player...etc
The spare one I found is a branched connection, to both mini-usb and usb, and that didn't work, so that prompted my question - I had previously assumed they were indeed just standard cables.
Anyway, I nicked one off my colleagues desk - seems yesterday's ride in the wind earned 34(!) achievements on Strava, so it was worth scavenging for the cable.
Cheers all.
Yer, use the one from PS3.
They often come as spare cables in phone boxes...
Double check you don't have a spare one from like a PS3, camera, Tom Tom or other computer peripheral, I have about 3 of them in addition to my Garmin one.
Any old one should do, I often use the one from my PS3 and that works fine!
Yep, 99p inc. delivery from ebay usually, buy a few of them!
It's just a standard mini USB cable.
