nice one fella's.
I am here now, as I was in Jan - March 2012.
I try & ride every day, so would recommend the Costa Blanca as a great area to ride.
- The Segura valley, either towards Murcia, or up into the Crevillent Sierras offers lots of opportunities.
- Major local airport is Alicante.
The weather is great, more like May/June in UK, some days with strong winds, usually off land, from West.
My lad recently hired a Focus Cayo carbon, with Ultegra, from Andy at http://www.murciabikehire.co.uk .
There is a training camp up near Benidorm http://www.ciclocostablanca.com/
During summer I ride the Yorkshire Dales, home of the forthcoming Grand Depart LeTourYorkshire
I went to the south of Spain last April, and am back there in 2 weeks!
Went with Mark @ http://bici-almeria.com/
Fantastic roads, climbs and food!
