Thinking of doing a bit of cycling in Spain in January. Anyone ever been? Any advice on tours, bike hire etc greatly appreciated

I am here now, as I was in

I try & ride every day, so would recommend the Costa Blanca as a great area to ride.
– The Segura valley, either towards Murcia, or up into the Crevillent Sierras offers lots of opportunities.
– Major local airport is Alicante.
The weather is great, more like May/June in UK, some days with strong winds, usually off land, from West.

During summer I ride the Yorkshire Dales, home of the forthcoming Grand Depart LeTourYorkshire
