Hi,

My daughters bike needs a new chain, she is running 9sp campagand I am having trouble finding anything other than a Campag Record.

I was hoping to pay less than £20 for a new chain as this is her commuter/winter bike which will probably (weather permitting) be put away shortly.

Would I be able to get away with a shimano compatable chain?

a KMC 9spd chain will work
a KMC 9spd chain will work and you can find one that suits your budget

and they have tools-free split-links which are useful for winter bikes as the chain can be taken off and cleaned easily, prolonging life
