Taxis in Bus Lanes

Now, as you're all probably aware, Northern Ireland isn't known for progressive thinking. So in a mind-numbingly stupid move, the NI DRD put out to consultation and are now implementing allowing taxis (all taxis, not just black public cabs) in bus lanes. Please read this for further info http://nigreenways.wordpress.com/2013/02/07/drd-determined-to-halt-belfast-cycling-progress/ This is incredibly frustating for commuter-cyclists; our cycle lanes are a waste of paint and the only 'safe' areas for cycling during normal working hours are in the bus lanes. So folks, don't come to Belfast with your bikes - it's not worth it.
