Ah thats answered it for me, I was to embarrassed to ask
Thanks Drheaton I knew it was simple and just too early
FL is a flat stage, usually with no major mountains and likely to end in a sprint finish
MM is medium mountain, a stage without huge climbs but one bumpy enough to usually encourage a breakaway winner or discourage a sprint finish
HM is high mountains, a stage with one of more big mountains along the route, a climbers stage
SF is summit finish, a mountainous day that ends at the summit of a climb
IT and TT you've got right.
