Hi,

Long time reader but first post-just wondering if anyone has cycled the D940 coast road from Calais to Boulogne? Ive got an unexpected day off work next week to coincide with Stage 3 TDF finish at Boulogne and am just trying to see if its logistically possible for me to take my bike on the ferry and cycle down before the stage ends!

Seems a bit hilly but not sure about anything else-any first hand tips most welcome

I’ve driven that road and, as I remember, the Calais-Le Touquet section has some steep climbs.

Isn’t the route covered in the 4 Days of Dunkirk?
