Just got here in Mexico City and was surprised to find that a major road is closed every weekend in the centre to allow cyclists to charge up and down. There’s a race on just now, quite odd to get up all jetlagged and find a peloton so near at hand. It makes me wish I’d brought my kit. I’ll hire a mountainbike this afternoon and take advantage of the closed roads.
