Having done 3 etape’s, and had the taste of some TdF routes, i fancy experiancing a Giro alternative. Do Italy have a ‘blue ribbon’ sportive equivalent?
    cheers

    There’s loads of Italian
There’s loads of Italian rides, but there’s not a specific ‘Giro’ one that apes a Giro stage, I don’t think?

    plenty to choose from though.

The Nove Colli from Cesenatico on the Adriatic coast is top of my list. You won’t be much surprised to find there’s nine hills in it, it attacts about 7,000 riders I think. I’ve done some riding round there and it’s a beautiful part of the world. http://www.novecolli.it

Also the Maratona dles Dolomites: http://www.maratona.it/en/ – shorter but a real toughie
