Rats taught to drive tiny cars to lower their stress levels (BBC)

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-50167812

Quote:

Learning to drive small cars helps rats feel less stressed, scientists found.

Researchers at the University of Richmond in the US taught a group of 17 rats how to drive little plastic cars, in exchange for bits of cereal.

Study lead Dr Kelly Lambert said the rats felt more relaxed during the task, a finding that could help with the development of non-pharmaceutical treatments for mental illness.

Well, okay then...

All this compares is a human driving on a race track with no boundaries or obstructions whatsoever, of course it's less stressful than ordinary life, typical nonsensical irrelevant 'research' that too often gets funded by taxpayers or used against the vulnerable as well as helping big corps to profit further stealing even more money/freedoms from general society.

I was going to like the first post in this thread. Then I read the second and realised I'd have to like that too. And the third. And.... So I'm just going to "like" the whole thread!

It would lower my stress levels if they taught humans to drive vehicles.

The real stress comes when they ditch the tiny car, get into massive debt and lease a beheamoth of an Urban Tank, with terrible fuel efficiency, find difficulty parking anywhere and get stuck in huge tailbacks of congestion with many others like them.

...and then the real trouble will start when they get stuck behind other rats on tiny bicycles riding two abreast running red lights without hi viz etc.
