Just in case anybody finds
Just in case anybody finds this in the far flung future like I just did, it turned out to be the pins that the lever pivots on rattling in the plastic housing. The right one got really bad. A YouTube person suggested epoxy which lasted about 2 rides before breaking off. I have now tried gripbond clear which is a sealant/glue and should be more flexible. Fingers crossed!

Yes. But don’t know what to do about it. I don’t think warranty will do anything as I do not believe any part has been updated or changed to resolve what appears to be a very common issue.
